内容記述 | Moral education in Japanese school education has undergone a significant change. In March 2015, the Enforcement Regulations of School Education Act was revised, and“ moral education” became“ special subject morality”. Accordingly, the course of study was also revised. From elementary school in 2018, middle school in 2019“ special subject morality” will be fully implemented. Traditionally, moral education often focused on reading the emotions of characters in teaching materials. However, moral education in the future is required to transform qualitatively into“ thinking and discussing morality”. There are many problems that need to be resolved, such as teachers claiming that children feel“ not fun” or“ not beneficial” regarding moral education. Problems similar to moral education also occurred in Dowa education and human rights education. The Osaka Prefectural Board of Education published“ Human Rights Learning with Verbs” in 2002 as an effort to solve problems. This paper analyzed and examined the contents and utilization examples of“ Human Rights Learning with Verbs” from the viewpoint of“ thinking and discussing morality”. As a result, the commonality was clarified in the class regarding“ thinking and discussing morality” aims and the case of utilization of“ Human Rights Learning with Verbs”. Moreover, it was found that“ Human Rights Learning with Verbs” can sufficiently apply to the course of study.“ Human Rights Learning with Verbs” was published for training in social education. However, by reconfiguration, it can be fully utilized for“ special subject morality”. From now on, accumulation of various practices is necessary for“ special subject morality”. Each teacher is required to actively make efforts. | |||||
