内容記述 | The purpose of this study were to( 1) discover what effects immediate visual feedback has on learners’ skill acquisition when teaching motor skills in a physical activity class, and( 2) to reveal that self-confirmatory feedback influences learners using a questionnaire that asks openended questions. The current study found the following results: 1. The visual feedback helped participants identify and improve their problems in motor skill acquisition. 2. An examination of the subjects’ insights using SCAT indicates that visual feedback enables them to (1) objectively view themselves as “others,” (2) find specific problems to be improved, and (3) consider such problems as their own goals and attempt to achieve them. 3. Several descriptions through open-ended questions suggest that visual feedback motivates the participants to improve themselves. The results also revealed that the subjects were surprised at the gap between the expected desired action and the observed real behavior. Real-time feedback is a significant driver of the learners’ desires to acquire motor skills and is an important source of motivation because it allows the learners to have intentions to follow others who have higher motor skills. | |||||
