| 内容記述 | According to the related literature on “Sports Coaching Study”, it seems to commence in the late 1950’s in order to utilize sports science for coaching practices. Researchers point out that sports coaching study should be distinguished from the related disciplines in sports science and should systematize the sports science outcomes which have direct relation to coaching practices. In 1994, “Introduction of coaching methodology” refer to as “sports coaching study” in this study, is published by a coaching methodology committee in the Japanese society of Sports Methodology, and fact gives us an impression that sports coaching study is progressing to next level at last. Thereafter, however, sports coaching study has not even reached this level, and consequently, one has to say that sports coaching study is still highly undeveloped field. In this study, various issues regarding sports coaching study are highlighted. Those issues considered science and practice, the objective of sports coaching study, general theory and specific theory, and effective systematization of the pertinent factors relating to sports sciences. From resulting the discussion, perspective of sports coaching study is guided. First of all, estrangement between science and practice has to be recognized by both sides and enhancement and accumulation of the analytical studies on the related factors to coaching practices should be implemented. More importantly, sports coaching study again has to be realized as applied science. In order to utilize the outcome of applied science, sports coaching study should incorporate a coaching education. And furthermore, systematization of the knowledge of the sports sciences and prosopography of successful coaches should be implemented. The selected method of those studies would generally be in a descriptive manner because of the difficultly of understanding the entire coaching practices with statistical analyses. Sports coaching study seems to be poised in a delicate position. In view of this, a drastic paradigm shift, and essentially the reorganization and the methodological approach to sports coaching study, which includes clarifying the name of this study and the method of the research, are required. This should be the way to establish new horizon for sports coaching study. | |||||||||||||
