内容記述 The purpose of this study was to investigate practices of school counseling services among nurse teachers and those influences on their traditional roles and opinions on some selected matters in their work. Applying a conceptual framework of school psychology, school counseling services were comprehensibly described as three types of psychological and educational services consisting of (1‘) assessment’, (2‘) counseling’to students with psychological problems, and (3‘) consultation’to their parents and teachers. 76 nurse teachers responded to a questionnaire on practices of these three types of services, practices of doctorroles and teacher-roles, opinions on counseling activities, job-satisfaction, and occupational difficulties. As a result of cluster analysis on practices of three services, participants were classified into three groups which practiced with high frequency in (A) all three types of services, (B) two types of services of assessment and consultation, and (C) only counseling respectively. There were significant differences in practices of two traditional roles among three groups. Group (A) and (C) practiced doctor-roles with higher frequency than group (B). On the other hand group (A) practiced teacher-roles with higher frequency than other two groups. Remarkable differences were not found in opinions on counseling activities, jobsatisfaction, and occupational difficulties among three groups. Participants recognized counseling as an important part of their functions, but had low confidence in their counseling abilities. They were also quite satisfied with their job and had common troubles in their work. These results suggested that nurse teachers practiced psychological and educational services in different patterns and those differences might have a distinctive influence on their other activities, especially in three types of services, counseling might tend to be associated with doctor-roles, but competed with teacher-roles.
