The two phases of the support service are primary and basic skills training, and more comprehensive and in-depth training in meeting individual needs.  The author attempted intensive transitional support programs for 6th grade children with developmental disabilities in resource rooms for several months. As a result, students showed confidence in challenging new transitional assignments and acquired adaptability in new requirements.
