Freshmen are required to go on a orientation camp for five days and four nights to the wilderness area nearby the campus within a week after entering the college. The survey questionnaires conducted before and after the orientation camp for 3 years reveals effectiveness in students’ well-regulated life, environment-friendly attitude, thoughtful behavior to others, and outdoor skills, which are the goals for the orientation camp. However, there was a drop in well-regulated life and outdoor skills in the second year. It could be depending on changes in the program by bad weather and small-group guidance system.
