Freshmen are required to go on a orientation camp for five days and four nights to the wilderness area nearby the campus within a week after entering the college. The survey questionnaires conducted before and after the orientation camp for 3 years reveals effectiveness in students’ well-regulated life, environment-friendly attitude, thoughtful behavior to others, and outdoor skills, which are the goals for the orientation camp. However, there was a drop in well-regulated life and outdoor skills in the second year. It could be depending on changes in the program by bad weather and small-group guidance system. In addition, the EQ survey done before and after the orientation camp shows significant differences in students’ emotional intelligence that is consisted of intrapersonal, interpersonal, and situational domains.}, pages = {59--68}, title = {新入生オリエンテーションキャンプの効果}, year = {2006}, yomi = {クロサワ, タケシ} }
