German coach, Dettmar Cramer, so called a father of coaching soccer study, was a first man that taught the coaching study to players and coaches in Japan based on his work of theorization and systematization of coaching skill. After earning official coaching license level C in December, 2005 at Biwako Seikei Sports College, forty six young coaches were born to be men to create sports culture which should make Japanese soccer competitive internationally. They received a passport for practical coaching, and learned the way to take on a sprit of Cramer’s coaching on them. In this study, a history of the coaching study was stated from the view of four suggestions by Cramer, which suggestions were establishment of top league, coach development, building up the strength of a national team and obtaining grass pitch, and was stated from the view of concept that coaches need to attend the accreditation program for official coaching license level S. This concept includes open mind, global standard, and paradigm shift of changing tacit knowledge to formal knowledge.
