「びわこ国際スポーツセミナー2008」 Biwako International Sport Seminar 2008 海老島, 均 エビシマ, ヒトシ Ebishima, Hitoshi 小笠原, 悦子 オガサワラ, エツコ Ogasawara, Etsuko Globalization National Identity Sociology of Sport On July 22nd 2008, an international seminar was held at Biwako Seikei Sport College featuring two prominent sport sociologists, Dr. Steven Jackson from the University of Otago, New Zealand and Dr. Chris Hallinan from Victoria University, Australia. Dr. Jackson is the President of the International Sociology of Sport Association and Dr. Hallinan is the Vice President of the same association. Special lectures were given by these two world class scholars on“sport and national identity in globalizing world”. Both lectures are summarized in this article.
